Ozone Tech Systems - Company Presentation

Ozone Tech Systems OTS AB, founded 1993, offers intelligent and innovative solutions for air and water treatment. By using natures own cleaning process, we have an environmentally friendly and cost efficient method which is both reliable and scalable to suit both small and larger applications.

Ozone generators for air and water treatment

Short summary of our ozone generators for air purification and water treatment, and their applications.

Energy savings in garbage rooms through ozone treatment

Instead of using refrigerated garbage rooms for organic waste, you can now use ozone treatment to eliminate odors. This results in major financial benefits in both installation and operation costs.

Ozone Treatment for ventilation systems and rotating heat exchangers

Buildings with air supply and exhaust systems allow for both heating and cleaning the air supply. It is also possible to renovate older buildings for balanced ventilation systems, which entails adding a new air supply system, with the help of fans, to the existing exhaust system.

Ozone Treatment for Restaurants & Industrial Kitchens

Our unique ozone generator series quickly break down grease and grease accumulations in the ventilation ducts. In addition to reducing the risk of fire, the ventilation system benefits from maximum air flow capacity.

Ozone Treatment of Grease Traps

Ozone treatment of grease traps will reduce or even completely eliminate unwanted odours which can easily spread through the ventilation system or directly from the area where the grease trap is located.

Ozone treatment of Bio Gas Facilities

The retting process used in biogas facilities produces sulphur compounds, such as hydrogen sulphide and mercaptans, which smell awful and can easily lead to problems for the surrounding areas.

Reports

Rebuilding of Ventilation Systems for Heat Recycling (Swedish)

Our FTX ozone generator was used in this project where proposed solution is a so called balanced ventilation system with in & out ventilation with heat recycling, so called FTX. This facilitates a better indoor climate as well as a much higher energy recycling. Heat recycling is a vital financial prerequisite for ventilation rebuilding to be carried out. This project's calculations show that a significant improvement in both the indoor climate and the operation costs can be achieved. With the guidance of these results from the Test Apartment, a rebuilding of the ventilation in the first of five buildings is being carried out and will be documented in a coming report.

Ozone in drinking water treatment - A brief overview

A brief overview of ozone water treatment for drinking water and microbacterial reduction as well as guides to some treatment levels.

Pharmaceuticals - Presence and effects in the aquatic environment, preventive measures and possible treatment methods (Swedish)

Our ICT-10 ozone generator was used in this project. The project had a number of aims, namely to fi nd methods and tools preventing the unnecessary discharge of pharmaceuticals into the sewer systems; to map the concentrations of pharmaceuticals in effl uents from the waste water treatment plants (WWTPs), in the receiving waters and in the drinking water; to fi nd out how pharmaceutical substances are reduced and degraded in the operating WWTPs and, fi nally, to study the possibility to further reduce pharmaceuticals in waste waters by new advanced techniques.

Decolorization and removal of COD and BOD from textile dye bath effluent

In this paper, a comparative study of the treatment of raw and biotreated (upflow anaerobic sludge blanket, UASB) textile dye bath effluent using advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) is presented. The AOPs applied on raw and biotreated textile dye bath effluent, after characterization in terms of COD, colour, BOD and pH, were ozone, UV, UV/H2O2 and photo-Fenton.

Effect of Corona Discharge on Onions in a Commercial Storage

This study explored the effects of corona discharge on controlling decay and maintaining quality of onions stored under high humidity.

Ozonation of a recirculating rainbow trout culture system - Effects on bacterial gill disease and heterotrophic bacteria

Ozone was added to water in a recirculating rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) culture system just before it entered the culture tanks in an attempt to reduce the numbers of heterotrophic bacteria in system water and on trout gills, and to prevent bacterial gill disease (BGD) in newly stocked fingerlings.

Ozonation of a recirculating rainbow trout culture system - Effects on microscreen filtration and water quality

Ozone was added to water in a recirculating rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) culture system just prior to the culture tanks in order to oxidize nitrite and organic material, improve overall water quality, and assist removal of solids across the microscreen filter.

Legionnaires' disease in Hospitals: occurrence, risk factors and hygenic measures (Swedish)

Water in public swimming pools/tubs are always treated (DIN 19643/1), for therapy pools/tubs for persons with impaired immune defenses (with increased infection risk), or swimming pools/tubs for incontinent people it is absolutely necessary to use a combination treatment including ozone (i.e. DIN 19643/3).

FDA - Ozone approved as a safe food additive and antimicrobal agent

Ozone may be safely used in the treatment, storage, and processing of foods, including meat and poultry.

IAFP - Beef Treatment: Ozone vs Traditional Methods

Viability of Clostridium perfringens, Escherichia coli, and Listeria monocytogenes Surviving Mild Heat or Aqueous Ozone Treatment on Beef Followed by Heat, Alkali, or Salt Stress.

Ozone Disinfection of SARS-Contaiminated Areas

Experimental data shows that ozone is effective in reducing airborne bacteria. Ozone is a gas that has good penetration capacity and powerful oxidizing power, thus its disinfection efficiency is superior to UV radiation and HEPA filter. Given the advantages of strong oxidizing power, good penetration capacity and no harmful residues left after the treatment, ozone is recommended to be used in disinfection of SARS-contaminated environments.
